So many talented artists performed on this R&B focused night at Boxpark Wembley. The energy in the room was really supportive of all artists which was great to witness. I went to a LDNRBS event in Boxpark Croydon a few months ago which was lit, I can tell you now I won't be missing anyyyy more of their events in the future!!! I'm going to highlight a few of the artists who stood out to me on the night below.
Trage and Nathan Lemard
Two separate artists who came together rapping & singing on a garage track. This had the crowd going maddd!! Everything just fit together so perfectly; no one knew what to expect when the garage song came on, Trage started rapping, things escalate and Nathan's vocals topped it off. The whole thing was hard, from start to finish. See the clip below 👇🏼.
I'm going to go into the two artists separately now so I'll start with
Trage @trage_music
Artist from South London.
Trage started rapping when he was 8 years old, so his passion for music is nothing new. He began to produce music at 16 when studying business at college. He's now in his third year of uni and still grinding hard with his music. He didn't want to do music in school because he believes it's an art form that should come from passion & it's not something you can force. For Trage, music runs deeper. It has brought his circle together, and been a root of passion and purpose in his life. Writing is a form of expression, and being the artist he is boosts his confidence on many levels.
"From listening to myself, I'm a fan of myself"
as an artist, you should be! I found it interesting to hear that Trage doesn't spend much time listening to other artists, which highlights how music is something that comes from within him, not necessarily from being inspired by other artists' work. Trage's purpose of music is to help and inspire people to work towards any dream they might have. His mindset is set very strongly towards his goals of having longevity in his music, for his songs to be remembered and "last through generations
like Biggie Smalls' music."

Nathan Lemard @nathann.ldn
Singer songwriter from West London.
As your first performance, how did you find it?
“At first it was nerve wracking because I didn’t know what to expect or how people would respond to my sound.. but seeing the energy Trage bought I knew I had to match it and I started to enjoy myself more as the song went on." Nathan definitely killed his first performance🔥. As you can see in the clip above when Nathan starts singing the crowd goes WILDDD. Being in the audience myself, I didn’t know whether to expect singing or rapping from Nathan so when he started singing it took everyone by surprise. It’s great to hear two close mates Trage and Nathan feed off each others energy when performing and motivate each other. “I think that moment will be the highlight of my year because it was my first performance and it was with a brother, plus it was a bonus to get the reaction we did”.
For the future of Nathan’s music, he sees himself on the charts, being played in clubs and reaching people globally. He also wants to bring joy and good vibes to those listening to his music.
”I want my music to be timeless, not just catchy for a few months then die out“.
Like Trage, Nathan plans for his music to hold longevity. In 2022, Nathan plans to release more music; a solo EP as well as a joint EP with Trage. He currently has two bangers out, one only released end of Jan, so go check them out on all platforms.

BHUMBLE @officialbhumble
Singer-songwriter from Ireland.
B Humble has mad talent. From the first song he sang you could tell how good his voice was but the smooth transition into his second song had the audience going crazyyyy at his vocals.
After growing up in Ireland and living there for 16 years, B Humble made the move to London. Music runs in B Humble's family, through singing in church and his dad being a singer, B Humble remembers his dad teaching him to sing the alphabet and being the person to introduce him to music itself.
"The Irish music scene is growing, a lot of people don't know who we are, but they're about to know in the next few years."
B Humble is set to be one of the artists who bring the Irish music scene to light.
In the next year we can expect more music, music videos and performances from B Humble. Music is something B Humble loves and loves to make, he hopes to grow a good support base, so that he can further his career. We are excited to hear more from B Humble & follow his journey.

UCHE BW @uchebw
Singer-songwriter, rapper, pianist and drummer from North London.
Along with Uche BW's smooth vocals he has a unique and versatile style; you cannot put him in a category. All of his singles give something different from the last, keeping his listeners on their toes. His transitions between singing and rapping are so smooth & his effortless flow really stood out to me when watching him perform.
Uche's musical journey started with him playing instruments, then transitioned into singing and later rapping when his mum suggested adding it into his songs. Rapping wasn't something he imagined doing but once starting it just worked with his style.
Genres Uche BW is inspired by are R&B, hip hop, pop, latin and artists he has taken inspiration from include The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran and Travis Scott. After seeing Travis Scott perform at the O2 a couple of years ago, Uche was blown away by his stage production, as one of Uche's desires is to be a successful touring artist.
"If it wasn't for Ed Sheeran I don't think I'd be writing as much as I do."
Ed Sheeran's work ethic has been inspiring to Uche. When speaking to Uche, he expressed how he has always understood the importance of practice when stepping into this industry and that talent alone isn't enough. This is something that has been enforced by studying Ed Sheeran's come up and his 10,000 hour rule, as Ed Sheeran has talked about how he developed his talent after hours of hard work.
The Weeknd was the first live artist Uche ever saw and he has followed him to see his development as a performer. The rawness of The Weeknd's lyrics is also something that stands out to Uche; he likes the fact the Weeknd's lyrics can be "raw and unforgiving" and it's one thing he has taken into his writing.
When writing he draws upon day to day life experiences as well as taking inspiration from films, documents and series.
"Music should be an autobiography".
Last year Uche released his EP Hot & Cold, and he has a number of singles coming out this year which we look forward to hearing, along with upcoming performances.
